Michele Atkins's is a Partner in the firm of Fain Sheldon Anderson & VanDerhoef, PLLC. Her practice focuses on defense of complex litigation, including claims of medical and other professional liability and products liability. Originally from Sacramento, California, Ms. Atkins received her B.S. from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California in 1995. Her J.D. was conferred by University of San Francisco School of Law in 1999.
Ms. Atkins is a member of both the California and Washington State Bar Associations; admitted to the United States District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington and the Northern District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Washington Law & Politics magazine has named Ms. Atkins a “Rising Star®.” She is an active member of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers, Washington Healthcare Risk Management Society and recent member of the Council on Litigation Management. Ms. Atkins was one of four featured attorneys in the nationally televised PBS documentary, "Presumed Guilty."
